Introduction

Mark joined Circle in March 2017, serving concurrently as the Regional Director for Money Concept’s Cross-Roads of America Region.  Since 2019, Mark has focused exclusively on Circle as part of the ownership team.

Mark brings 25 years of financial services experience to Circle. Eight of those years were previously with Money Concepts as a Financial Professional before joining us again.

A former resident of Florida and Ohio, Moss graduated from Butler University where he studied business & economics. Mark now lives in the Irvington area with his wife and two kids.  He actively serves in his church and enjoys tennis, camping, sporting clays and cheering for the Indianapolis Colts.

History

Starting in 1986 with Northwestern Mutual, Mark moved to Money Concepts and helped launch the bank distribution operation. This operation earned the President of the Year award two consecutive years, recognizing it as a leading center nationally.

Later, as Assistant Vice President of Trust Development with First Merchants Bank, he authored a bi-weekly column in a local newspaper and taught adult-education classes on financial planning at Ball State University and Anderson University. Mark became the National Sales Manager for Pentera Group, where he consulted with charitable foundations and financial services companies nationally on topics of marketing, charitable giving, and agent training.

This experience in training led to a role as Corporate Executive with the largest provider of vocational and leadership training in Indiana – Ivy Tech Corporate College.  This career detour in education was rewarding for Moss since he launched his career while working part-time as a substitute teacher in the Carmel Clay School system.

Combining his experiences in financial services and leadership training, Mark joined the companies of OneAmerica as Field Director of Leadership Development in 2014. He was tasked with developing the next generation of field leaders for the company nationally.

Circle is glad to have Mark’s experience and leadership on our team!
